AN931-CN is a 5G RedCap communication module by Favalon, designed for automotive
front-loading applications. It supports 3GPP Release 17,
balancing 5G performance with cost optimization, backward
compatible with 4G LTE and pin-to-pin compatible with 4G modules.
Integrated with dual-frequency GNSS L1+L5 (BeiDou priority), IPA hardware
acceleration, and TrustZone security. Compact size (33.0×37.5×3.75mm),
compliant with IATF16949 and automotive environmental requirements.
Suitable for T-Box, CCU central computing, smart cockpit connectivity,
fleet management and asset tracking, providing a high cost-performance
solution for 5G RedCap large-scale deployment in connected vehicles.
